Planète corps : odyssée des Sciences
Like the planet Earth, our body is composed of fascinating landscapes, like it, it is the theater of a surprising wild life. "Planet Body" offers us an unprecedented microscopic safari, to meet creatures who live, thrive, clash, feed, reproduce, born or die on the surface or in the depths of our body. Some may seem harmful, others are useful, even essential for our survival, but all participate in a subtle biological balance, which was built during evolution. In the company of Franck Courchamp, ecologist and director of research at the CNRS, we will travel from the savannas of our skin to the jungles of our hair, from the acidic lakes of our stomach to the humid caves of our intestines. Along the way, we realize that biodiversity on our body is essential to our balance. We harbor more bacteria than we have cells, viruses are home to our genes, we are in constant interaction with thousands of living organisms, and that is what makes us human!
