Homo imitator : la surprenante histoire du biomimétisme
Leonardo da Vinci said: "Structure nature, that is where your future is".
At a time of heightened awareness about our environment and our ecosystem, many citizens are going "green", becoming adepts of "zero waste", driving with electricity, producing their own products... and are observing nature and those who compose it more closely in order to imitate them to improve their daily lives.
Biomimicry is, at the present time, an important subject in the world scientific sphere. It consists of reproducing what fauna and flora have developed to live, to draw inspiration from the strategies put in place and perfected by nature to facilitate innovation, design and improve our ecosystems in our lives. This observation of nature is not new, however, and without it, human technology would not be nearly as widespread today.
