The first part of the book is devoted to questions that children ask themselves or their parents: What are the main tastes? Why do some people eat spicy food and not me? Is it true that our ancestors ate better? Why don't we eat strawberries in winter? Why is it better to buy fruit at the market? and many other questions that will interest young and old.
The second part will tell them in detail about the different food families and why it is good for your health to eat them... but not too much. Each double-page spread is accompanied by an original and easy-to-make recipe from the chef for the child and the adult who accompanies him or her through the book.

Thierry Marx is convinced that there is no age, no social or geographical determinism that prevents us from being interested in what we eat and what we cook.
The main idea of the book is to make the child and his parents aware that eating is to bring something into our most precious possession: our body. And that it is time to give this daily act all the attention it deserves. Do we eat because we are a bag that needs to be filled or do we eat to feel good or better?
This book aims to help young readers to better understand their dietary needs, so that they can become actors of their own diet.
